We do our best to ensure that the animals we place in foster care have received all necessary diagnosis and treatment. Would you be willing to host a cat with rhinotracheitis in a foster family for its convalescence?

Rhinotracheitis is a virus similar to the flu. Cats that are housed in the shelter sometimes contract it. During their convalescence, it is ideal for these cats to stay with a foster family. It is important to note that cats with rhinotracheitis can be contagious to other cats, but not to other animal species or humans.
