This clinic was created to contribute to the decrease of the cat population in the Eastern Townships. The SPA allows animal caretakers with limited financial resources to have their cats sterilized at a lower cost.

Why should I have my cat sterilized?
In addition to reducing the feline population in your area, sterilization has many benefits. For female cats, it reduces the risk of uterine and mammary glands cancer. For male cats, it reduces “marking” behaviour and the strong smell of urine.

How to register
Verify and complete your eligibility and that of your cat.
You must reside in a municipality served by the SPA de l’Estrie. Verify here if we serve your municipality.
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must obtain a reference pamphlet from one of our partner organizations.
- Your cat must be at least 6 months old.
Please note that we will contact only those applicants who meet the selection criteria and who have been selected for an appointment.
